The location is fabulous and so convenient for the Old Town’s popular shops, restaurants and bars, being just a very easy 5 minute stroll away and of course the harbour close by as well. Unless you wish to travel further afield, you certainly won’t need a car staying at Calypso.
The contemporary, yet very comfortable, design of Calypso really does make the very best use of the space and is light and airy with plenty of doors and windows to take in the fabulous views. Calypso is fully air-conditioned throughout and sleeps 8 over 4 double en-suite bedrooms
(3 doubles and 1 twin).
The spacious ground floor with its double doors opening onto the main terrace is a very lovely relaxing space with open plan living room with comfortable sofas, TV etc, indoor dining area and fully equipped kitchen providing everything you need for dining at home.
A stair case leads to the lower ground floor and a further staircase to the first floor.
Lower Ground Floor
The lower ground floor is a lovely cool space and I’m sure will be very popular in the hot high season months! It houses one bedroom with a double bed and ample wardrobe and storage space, and bathroom.
There is an area to the rear of this floor which can be used as a quiet spot from which to work if needed or a ‘quiet’ area form relaxation or games and opens onto a shady outside area.
The Master bedroom en-suite commands the front area of this space and opens onto a balcony from which to enjoy an early morning coffee or a sundowner before heading to town for the evening. Either way, it’s a great place to simply take in the views and contemplate! There are ample wardrobes and drawers to maximise the space.
To the rear of this floor is a twin bedroom, again with private bathroom and plenty of wardrobe and storage space.
This is a stunning space recently created by the new owners and offering quite a unique feature. They have created a large open plan second lounge with wide doors opening onto the balcony offering spectacular evening sunset views. It is a wonderful area just to relax on the comfortable sofas and enjoy the tranquillity it offers.
The fourth double bedroom is to the rear of this floor and there is also a private bathroom. Again, the bedroom has plentiful wardrobe and storage space.
A £250 non-refundable deposit together with a signed booking form is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival. A damages deposit of £250 is required 2 weeks before arrival. This deposit will be held and returned to you within 2 weeks of departure provided the property is left as it was found save any usual wear and tear.
